Reading Outputs ======================================== OpenWQ outputs can be saved in two standard scientific formats: `HDF5 `_ and `CSV `_. These formats are supported by widely used programming languages including C++, R, Python, and MATLAB. **HDF5 is the preferred output format** as it is the only format with full support, including the post-processing supporting scripts for reading, plotting, and mapping results. Supporting scripts ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OpenWQ provides a comprehensive Python toolkit for reading, analyzing, and visualizing model outputs.
